Marriott Vacations Worldwide recently ranked fourth in the Orlando Sentinel’s “Top 100 Companies” for 2016, making it the highest recognized company in the vacation ownership industry. The survey and award program was created to identify and honor places of employment in Orlando which benefits the city’s economy, its workforce, and businesses.

Weisz, president and chief executive officer. “Our dedication to our associates and their well-being continues to be recognized as a world class benchmark and our company culture programs remain focused on how our associates Grow, Thrive and Care both at work and in their personal lives.”

The Orlando Sentinel considered for-profit, non-profit businesses, publicly and privately held, and government entities for the list. The criteria includes having a facility in Central Florida ,having at least 15 employees, and must be in a business a minimum of one year.

The survey evaluation breaks down into two parts. The first consists of evaluating each nominated company’s workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems, and demographics. The second measures the actual employee experience. The scores were combined and the final ranking is determined by the Best Companies Group, and the list was published in the Orlando Sentinel on August 21, 2016.
