RCI members will now have access to holiday in the majestic mountains of Pirin as part of the RCI exchange holiday program. The newly acquainted Balkan Jewel Resort is the first Bulgarian resort affiliated with RCI’s holiday exchange network and is close to Bansko, Bulgaria’s popular ski resort.

The resort overlooks the Ian-Woosnam designed 18-hole Pirin Golf Course and is a 10-minute drive away from Bansko. The resort also features a restaurant, spa and fitness center, indoor swimming pool, and children’s playground. A shuttle service is available to offer guests the chance to travel from the resort to the golf course, the town of Razlog, or to the Gondola lifts to the slopes of Bansko.

“We believe our resort sits well with other resort options in the RCI exchange program, which offers its members so many different holiday experiences and lifestyle options,” said Kimberley Stapleton, marketing director, Balkan Jewel Resort Management.
“As we all know, our customers value authentic experiences, adventure and cultural exchanges and we are giving our owners an exceptional opportunity to sample the best of Bulgarian spirit and tradition in a naturally beautiful location,” she continued. “We are confident RCI can offer our owners the choice of a variety of quality lifestyle holidays in thousands of destinations worldwide, which will add value to the ownership we offer.”

Balkan Jewel Resort offers a wide range of units from studio to two-bedroom. The property also features storage rooms for ski and golf equipment, as well as a ski hire chalet which allows the staff to make all the bookings and reservations for Balkan Jewel Resort guests.

Other amenities and services include babysitting services, free Wi-Fi, bicycle and DVD hire, and transport to surrounding areas, including Greece.
