Divi Resorts Launches New Program for Honeymooners

Hospitality and vacation ownership brand Divi Resorts has partnered with Honeymoon Wishes to provide an all-new vacation service for newlyweds. Recognizing the frequent number of honeymooners staying at their Caribbean properties, Divi has started offering honeymoon registries for couples seeking nontraditional wedding gifts.

Available now, Divi Resorts’ new honeymoon registries are featured at four of the chain’s popular Caribbean properties—Divi Village Golf and Beach Resort in Aruba, Divi Aruba Phoenix Beach Resort in Aruba, Divi Little Bay Beach Resort in St. Maarten, and Divi Southwinds Beach Resort in Barbados. Couples can start a registry at any one of the four properties and tailor certain gifts to their interests and likes, allowing them to craft a fully customizable registry that can lead to the ideal honeymoon.

Family and friends of the couple can access their registry straight from Divi Resorts’ website. Wedding guests can buy certain experiences for the couple, like scuba diving excursions, spa treatments, dinner at on-site restaurants, or simply contribute to the cost of their stay.

Jason Price, director of revenue for Divi Resorts, explains the appeal behind the brand’s new honeymoon registries:

“Many couples are no longer looking for traditional wedding gifts. Rather than gifting another kitchen appliance that will never be used, honeymoon registries allow wedding guests to treat the couple to an incredible once-in-a-lifetime experience they’ll never forget. We wanted to provide the options modern couples are looking for, so we decided to partner with Honeymoon Wishes to build honeymoon registries at our most popular resorts for honeymooning couples.”
