El Cid Vacations Club Awarded Best Product at GNEX

The finale of the annual GNEX Timeshare Leaders Conference and the announcement of the winners of the 7th annual Perspective Magazine Awards took place on January 30th and February 1st respectively. The Perspective Magazine awards leaders in the travel industry in 28 individual categories, honoring achievements for company wide policies, marketing innovations, and outstanding leadership in these companies.
The last event of the conference featured Perspective Magazine hosting its awards ceremony to recognize companies in the industry for excellence in several categories including Best Membership Program, Best Overall Company over 250 Employees, and Best Team. Among the award winners was El Cid Vacation Club, which was awarded the Best Business Product by Perspective Magazine.
The award is one of the most unique in the industry because, unlike with other travel industry awards, the Perspective Magazine winners are based on the rating choices of a four-judge panel as well as those of the members and guests who have vacationed there. The ratings and votes offered by the general public count towards 20% of the nominee’s scores and are factored into the final winning selections.
“The combination of a judging panel that does not confer and the online voting portion not only creates incredible exposure and company-wide camaraderie for the nominees, but also provides the most independent results of any other awards program within the industry,” said President and CEO of the Perspective Group, Paul Mattimoe.
The team at El Cid Vacations Club received a crystal trophy commemorating their award for Best Business Product. El Cid Vacations Club and the other 27 award winners will be featured in the upcoming issue of Perspective Magazine, where readers can learn more about the company’s success and their recent win.
