Preferred Residences℠, a globally known hospitality branding program, is now serving The Point at Petite Calivigny in Grenada, a small Caribbean country renowned for its spice production. ILG’s operating business, Interval International, offers the program to luxury shared ownership resorts.

A developer of the resort, Dr. Christopher C. Ashby, director of Chanson D’Argent Holdings Development Limited, said:

”Shared ownership has proven to be a successful business model in several of the Caribbean’s most popular travel destinations. After many years of involvement in Grenada’s residential real-estate market, we recognized a need for more diversification in the island’s tourism product. We are confident that The Point at Petite Calivigny provides the optimal mix of luxury and flexibility to fit the lifestyle of today’s affluent leisure travelers.”

The resort’s guests will have a choice of two-bedroom condominiums, arrayed like a remote village around a yoga facility and organically shaped pool, or modern three-bedroom villas. In the villas, guests can enjoy the sights of Hog Island, Woburn Bay Marine Protected Area, and Calivigny Island from the comfort of interiors equipped with a furnished kitchen, private patio, infinity pool, hand-made furniture, and plenty of space to dine and make merry during their Grenada vacation. The accommodations sit on a stunningly maintained 9-acre landscape.

Neil Kolton, Interval director of resort sales and service for the Caribbean, said the following:

”This exceptional property is an exciting addition to the Preferred Residences portfolio. Consumers who purchase a fractional ownership interest at The Point at Petite Calivigny will enjoy the authentic vacation experience for which Grenada is renowned, as well as the personal service they can expect from a Preferred Residences member resort.”

The resort will add an assortment of amenities in two phases:

Phase One

  • Deep-water marina
  • Boat dock
  • Three-meal waterfront restaurant
  • Indoor/outdoor gym

Phase Two

  • Hotel with 60 rooms
  • Health spa
  • Beach club/restaurant
  • Sky bar and lounge

Guests will arrive at the resort by private launch from the international airport just 15 minutes away, and have access to electric carts at the resort.

Grenada has many outdoor activities for guests to partake in, as a way to explore the country’s natural beauty. Examples include hiking through tropical jungles and rainforests, diving, deep-sea fishing, and snorkeling. A Grenada vacation also offers rich cultural experiences in the form of markets, festivals, and tours of plantations, forts, and historic landmarks.

Preferred Residences makes exchanging their designated resorts possible for well-to-do excursionists. In addition to trading vacation time for stays at other Preferred Residences resorts, owners benefit from discounted nightly reservations, annual Preferred Golf℠ membership, year-round Priority Pass™ airport VIP lounge program membership, dining discounts, 24-hour personal concierge services, and a great deal more.
