Extensive Renovations are Wrapping Up at Sheraton Carlsbad Resort & Spa

In June of 2018, the Sheraton Carlsbad Resort & Spa will exhibit the impressive renovations that have taken place across their property. These updates include room transformations, a brand new restaurant, 7 Mile Kitchen, and the Westin Carlsbad Resort & Spa, which will share the same campus and set to open in July 2018.
When guests enter this nearly brand-new property, they will be greeted in a stunning 4,500 square-foot lobby with high ceilings, a porte cochere entrance, and beautiful artwork from local artists. From here, they will also have access to 40,000 square-feet of indoor and outdoor meeting space for various events, a zero-entry pool, water slide, kids’ activity center, courtyard areas, and family-friendly activities. The resort will share these amenities with the brand-new Westin Carlsbad Resort & Spa, which has a focus of coastal luxury and wellness in its design.
The 169 guest rooms, which includes 48 suites, have been totally redesigned with modern textiles, bedding, furniture, and art inspired by the ocean to match the new coastal colors and the existing Mediterranean architecture. Suites will feature two-bedrooms with a master bedroom and ensuite while guest rooms will have state-of-the-art technology with access to streaming accounts, Wi-Fi, and much more. Many of these rooms will also have incredible views of the Carlsbad Lagoon or Pacific Ocean.
7 Mile Kitchen will be operated by award-winning Chef, Gil Manipon, with excited items like craft beers, gourmet burgers, and handcrafted pizzas. Guests will even find a gelato bar at the poolside restaurant.
