Bluegreen Vacations Corporation Announces Retirement of Chief Operating Officer

Just announced by Bluegreen Vacations Corporation, David Pontius will be retiring from his role as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer in December of 2018. Pontius has been with Bluegreen Vacations for more than 11 years and has held multiple positions with the company.
David Pontius first started as as President of Bluegreen’s Resorts Division in 2007, then went on to Chief Strategy Officer in 2010 in 2010, and Chief Operating Officer in 2017. He also currently serves on the Executive Committee and Board of Directors of the American Resort Development Association (ARDA).
Before and during his time at Bluegreen, David Pontius has been a pillar in the industry for more than 40 years. He has many achievements, including founding his own marketing company, managing a finance company, and holding a number of leadership positions at top companies like RCI, Wyndham, Vacation Ownership, Hilton Grand Vacation Club, and Bluegreen.
