WorldMark South Pacific Starts Renovations on Ramada Resort by Wyndham Flynns Beach

WorldMark

The popular Ramada Resort by Wyndham Flynns Beach, part of the WorldMark South Pacific Club network, has just begun their property renovations which will almost double their existing room inventory and add other on-site amenities for guests. This expansion will be the second and final stage of the site’s master plan.

Accommodation renovations will include 53 new one-, two-, three, and four-bedroom villas with a mix of deluxe, grand, and presidential suites, upping their current 60 apartments to 113. In addition to the new villas, the resort will also be adding a new gym, games area, children’s pool, cafe, parking, and common area pavilions. The reception area will also be relocated to a more centralized and convenient area of the resort adjacent to the driveway.

The work is set to be completed in five stages and expected to be finished by Q3 2020.

South Pacific, Wyndham Destinations Asia Pacific Vice President of Resort Operations Warren Cullum was excited to talk about the developments on this property:

“Ramada Flynns Beach typically hits occupancy levels of 90 per cent across the year thanks to its popularity with the club’s vacation owners and resort guests. This expansion will provide a wider range of high quality accommodation in Port Macquarie for the Club’s growing owner base, along with domestic and international travellers.”

Cullum also discussed the benefits the renovations will have on the community:

“The resort is proud to contribute an estimated $10 million to the local economy every year and we are excited about the potential this project has to bring more visitors and a greater financial benefit to the region. We also expect the expansion of the property will benefit local employment directly through new jobs at the resort and indirectly when some suppliers create additional positions.”
