DVC Members Receive Exclusive Star Wars: Galactic Gathering on April 10

UPDATE: Disney Vacation Club has officially canceled the Star Wars: Galactic Gathering, stating:
“Due to a change in our intergalactic entertainment offerings, Star Wars: Galactic Gathering has been cancelled. We apologize for the inconvenience and invite you to continue checking back for other special Member events and offerings.”
It’s just been announced that Disney is providing DVC members and special guests with a one-night Star Wars: Galactic Gathering on April 10, 2019 from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM at the World ShowPlace pavilion at Epcot.
This Membership Magic event will consist of Star Wars-themed food and drinks, meet and greets with various Star Wars characters, photo opportunities with Star Wars set props and pieces, an on-site DJ playing the soundtrack to this magical experience, and more.
The menu for this Star Wars extravaganza was crafted by the Disney culinary team and designed to transport guests to this intergalactic world they love so much. The buffet will feature Star Wars-themed hors d’oeuvres, specialty drinks, a salad cone station, a small bites station, a bowl action station, a carving station, and a dessert station. Fun items to look out for are the Endor couscous, Darth Vader cupcakes, Tatooine cheeseburger spring rolls, and BB-8 mouse domes.
In addition to all the Star Wars fun to be had, DVC members who join can enjoy a reserved viewing area around the World Showcase Lagoon for Epcot’s nighttime IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth show.
Eligible members can purchase $225 adult and $210 children tickets for this event, separate from Epcot’s admission which is also required. Members can book as many as five guests per ownership.
