Disney Riviera Resort Sales are Now Open for Disney Vacation Club Members

With an anticipated construction completion of December 16, 2019, Disney’s Riviera Resort is now accepting vacation ownership purchases from Disney Vacation Club members. Members have an exclusive sales window until April 15, 2019 before sales open to the general public.

DVC Senior Vice President and General Manager Terri Schultz discussed the the brand’s 15th property:

Our team can’t wait to welcome families to this relaxing destination inspired by the world-famous sun drenched Mediterranean Coastline.”

Riviera Resort will have around 300 deluxe studios, one-bedroom villas, two-bedroom villas, and grand villas that can sleep anywhere from 4-12 guests. In addition to these more standard accommodations, there will also be a unique two-guest accommodation option within the property’s Tower Studios designed for maximum efficiency. These units will include a queen-size murphy bed, sofa, writing nook, smart storage solutions, a modern bathroom, a beverage center, and a microwave.

  • A leisure pool (Beau Soleil)
  • Poolside bar/eatery (Bar Riva)
  • Gourmet rooftop restaurant (Topolino’s Terrace)

  • Casual dining (Primo Piatto)
  • Character breakfast dining experiences (Topolino’s Terrace)

Inspired by 20th century Southern Europe, the menus, decor, architecture, characters, and other details within this resort will take on many French, Italian, and overall Mediterranean themes that will make every visitor feel as though they are walking along a preserved European coastline. The property will offer incredible rooftop views within Topolino’s Terrace where guests can watch the nighttime spectaculars offered by nearby Epcot and Hollywood Studios, lush landscapes, and plenty of daily activities for the entire family.

When guests and owners want to venture off of the resort property, they will have plenty of ways to get around. Their newest gondola travel system, the Disney Skyliner, will connect the resort to Epcot and Disney’s Hollywood Studios, which is perfect for taking photos and enjoying the sites. The cabins will have a plethora of Disney-inspired images, information on nearby attractions, and more.

Riviera Resort is the first stand-alone DVC property on the Disney World campus since 2004. Owners will find the resort offers plenty of membership benefit options including early access to Fast Pass selections and Extra Magic Hours. In addition, all guests at the resort will receive complimentary transportation or park parking, complimentary airport transportation on Disney’s Magical Express, MagicBands, and Disney dining plan package options.
