Thursday, April 4, 2019
Hilton Grand Vacations has announced that two of its resort properties—Ocean Oak Resort by Hilton Grand Vacations Club in Hilton Head, South Carolina, and Hilton Grand Vacations Club on Paradise in Las Vegas, Nevada—have won the Connie Award, given by the Hilton Brand.
The prestigious Connie Award is given across Hilton’s 17 brands. Properties are judged based on factors including internal audits, customer service results, and Hilton Grand Vacations owner appreciation scores. Each of the Hilton brands recognizes its top properties with the Connie Awards each year, making it a highly coveted distinction.
“The Connie Award recognizes properties with the perfect balance of exceptional quality and outstanding service,” says Kevin Speidel, vice president of resort operations at Hilton Grand Vacations. “Simply put, the Connie Award celebrates the ‘best of the best’ in resort operations. This win exemplifies our team members’ tireless pursuit of excellence, as well as HGV’s mission to ensure team members become family, guests become owners, and owners become the heart of everything we do. I am extremely proud of these two resorts, every one of our amazing team members and look forward knowing even more innovation and service will come from these talented teams.”
The Ocean Oak Resort opened in 2016 and has since overcome many challenges including hurricane evacuations. The resort has managed to deliver top-notch guest services and vacation experiences for Hilton Grand Vacations owners. The resort team is constantly innovating, developing unique arrival experiences, improving amenities, and working to create team member appreciation events.
The Paradise opened in 1999, a legacy Hilton Grand Vacations property, and continues to pursue excellence and constantly looks for ways to improve. It was the first resort to transform the Hilton Grand Vacations team members experience.
