Apple Leisure Group Brings the First Secrets Resorts Property to Europe

Travel and hospitality trailblazer Apple Leisure Group (ALG) has just announced the opening of the first ever AMResorts Secrets-branded property in Europe: Secrets Mallorca Villamil Resort & Spa. Secrets Mallorca Villamil Resort is located on the beautiful Spanish island of Mallorca in the town of Peguera and is the latest project in ALG’s continued European expansion. The property is owned and operated by one of Spain’s leading hotel groups, Hesperia Hotels & Resorts.
ALG’s Executive VP and Chief Strategy Officer Javier Coll stated:
“Partnering with Hesperia Hotels & Resorts was a natural move for ALG, as we continue to aggressively expand throughout Europe. We are excited to show how our proven ability to seamlessly transition existing properties to one of AMResorts’ award-winning brands ensures owners receive maximum value, while minimizing delays and overall cost.”
The property has undergone a $3.5-million renovation which includes 162 refreshed rooms and suites, views of the Mediterranean Sea, exclusive swim-up pools for select suites, and two sunrooms. The property also features four gourmet restaurants, five bars, a heated outdoor pool, a fitness center, and daily activities or entertainment.

Secrets Mallorca Villamil Resort & Spa is the 16th Secrets-branded property and adds to their collection in other popular destinations like Costa Rica, the Dominican Republic, Mexico, and Jamaica. Lanzarote Resort & Spa, another ALG and Hesperia Hotels property, is slated to be completed by the end of the year.
