Mazatlan and Puerto Morelos Win the “World Travel Awards 2019”

El Cid Resorts has joined in announcing that Riviera Maya destinations, Mazatlan and Puerto Morelos have won the highly coveted “World Travel Awards 2019.” This awards ceremony is known as the Oscars of the travel industry and services to celebration destinations in different categories all across the globe.

Mazatlan won “Mexico & Central America’s Leading City Destination 2019,” making it the best destination in Mexico and Central America. This is the second time that Mazatlan has received this award.

The fishing village of Puerto Morelos won “Mexico’s Leading Adventure Tourism Destination 2019,” as it offers the best activities for all age groups.

The World Travel Awards was established in 1993 to celebrate, acknowledge, and reward excellence across all sectors of travel, tourism, and hospitality industries. Today, the World Travel Awards brand is seen globally and is the ultimate hallmark of industry excellence.
