Bluegreen Vacations Corporations Announces Resignation of President and CEO

Bluegreen Vacations Corporations has announced that Shawn B. Pearson has resigned as the company’s President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for family reasons. His resignation is effective December 31, 2019.

After Pearson’s separation from the company, Alan B. Levan will become Bluegreen Vacations Corporations’ President and CEO. Mr. Levan has served as Chairman of Bluegreen Vacations for over 15 years. Mr. Levan also serves as Chairman, CEO and President of BBX Capital Corporation.

Bluegreen Vacations has also announced that Raymond S. Lopen was appointed Chief Operating Officer, while also serving as Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer & Treasurer. He will also continue to serve as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of BBX Capital Corporation.
