DVC Tower at Disneyland Hotel Plans Move Forward

Disney Vacation Club timeshare ownership will soon be an option at Disneyland Hotel in Anaheim, California. A permit was filed for the project in December 2019, and it’s continuing to move forward with the new demolition and construction permit granted to the site, even despite temporary park closures.

Currently, the only DVC option at Disneyland Resort is The Villas at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. The addition of this new DVC tower at Disneyland Hotel will give travelers a second DVC option for their stay.

This new, as-yet-unnamed Disney Vacation Club property, will accompany the three already-existing Disneyland Hotel towers: Adventure Tower, Frontier Tower, and Fantasy Tower. According to the permit file, it appears the new tower will offer 350 guest rooms.

The new permit gives permission for “Demolition of existing back-of-house maintenance facilities, a fitness center, event lawn, and a guest laundry facility, and construction of a new 280,000-square foot, twelve-story, vacation ownership resort.”
