Wyndham Rewards Awards Over 45,000 Essential Frontline Workers with a Free Night Stay

Wyndham Hotels & Resorts is celebrating National First Responders Day by surprising over 45,000 essential workers on the frontline of the pandemic with 7,500 Wyndham Rewards points. This is the equivalent of a free one-night stay at one of the thousands of Wyndham Hotels across the globe.

This new initiative is part of the Wyndham #EverydayHeroes campaign. The Wyndham points are being sent to any health care worker, police officer, teacher, truck driver, construction worker or other essential workers that opted into the deal on the Wyndham Rewards website by end of the day on October 27, 2020.

Geoff Ballotti, president and CEO of Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, stated:

“Throughout this pandemic, it’s our essential frontline workers who have helped keep us all safe and our Nation running. On this National First Responders Day, we want to honor their hard work and continued sacrifice. Whether it’s with a quick overnight getaway or a week-long escape, our hope is that these points, combined with the added perks of Wyndham Rewards Gold membership, help to make their next trip not only more attainable but more enjoyable too. They’ve earned it.”

The Wyndham #EverydayHeroes campaign was launched this past April to recognize and thank those on the frontline of the pandemic. Many of these people are forced to continue to travel as part of their job. Through this campaign, eligible workers are able to receive a complimentary instant upgrade to Wyndham Rewards Gold membership. This upgrade comes with additional perks such as late checkout, a preferred room, and accelerated earnings.

Wyndham Rewards points are being sent out through email today and must be claimed by November 18, 2020. Once claimed, they must be redeemed within 18 months. For full details and to learn more, visit the Wyndham Rewards website.
