Anantara Vacation Club and Wanda Hotels & Resorts Provide Owners with More Vacation Options in China

Anantara Vacation Club, the premier points-based vacation ownership program in Southeast Asia, recently announced that it will expand its cooperation with Wanda Hotels & Resorts, one of China’s largest luxury hotel management companies. This expansion will allow the Club’s Points Owners to have more access to vacation at domestic hotels in China.

With the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic, Anantara Vacation Club worked to adjust its strategy by expanding with current partners throughout China. ‘The China Collection’ was set up for China-based Points Owners and included a portfolio of more than 15 partner hotels in the China mainland. This new collection allows owners to enjoy numerous travel options throughout China while international travel restrictions are still in place.

The joint-partnership of Anantara Vacation Club and Wanda Hotels & Resorts will continue until the end of 2021. The expansion includes 22 new properties being introduced in top tourist destinations such as Chongqing, Guilin, Nanjing, Wuhan, Zhengzhou, and Taiyuan.

Since the launch of ‘The China Collection’, our Club Points Owners have booked more than 1,300 room nights with Wanda Hotels & Resorts. The reception we have received has been very positive.”

The new properties added are available for bookings and available for stays from January 1, 2021 to December 31, 2021.

Anantara Vacation Club continues to work for their Club Points Owners in China and beyond, new Preview Operations are being established so that members can better understand the club and its benefits. Through the partnership with Wanda Hotels & Resorts, a new Preview Centre has already opened to the general public in Kunming, with additional Preview Centres in Chongqing and Nanjing set to open early next year.
