Disney Vacation Club To Expand Room Offerings at Grand Floridian With New Villas

Disney Vacation Club Timeshare

Disney Vacation Club (DVC) has just announced that the vacation ownership brand will be transitioning 200 standard hotel rooms at the Grand Floridian to Deluxe Studio Villas in order to provide more accommodation offerings for its members. The project has an anticipated opening of summer 2022.

DVC’s Senior VIP Terri Schultz stated:

“This is great news for Disney Vacation Club and our Members. It will provide us with new and diverse inventory at a resort that is cherished by our Members and their families.”

Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is located on Seven Seas Lagoon and provides monorail access to Magic Kingdom. This renovation project will take place in Big Pine Key (building nine) to around 200 existing resort studios and will be able to sleep up to five guests. These new villas will be a part of The Villas at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and the brand’s current condominium association.

In these reimagined deluxe studios, Disney Vacation Club members will enjoy the same Victorian style in these accommodations as they do around the rest of the resort. Some villas will even have additional features like views of Magic Kingdom and Bay Lake.

The Grand Floridian has been a staple of the Disney Vacation Club property line up since 2013. The resort is known for not only providing its guests with many of the desired conveniences found at home, but also a variety of amenities, superb services, and plenty of Disney magic. Currently, DVC has 100 units at the Grand Floridian ranging from studios to three-bedroom Grand Villas.

DVC will release more information regarding sales and rental bookings at a later date.
