The Villas at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa to Receive an Extensive Makeover

Part of the ever-popular Disney Vacation Club, The Villas at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa is certainly a fan favorite with its 1890’s Victorian architecture and elegance. On the eve of the 50th Anniversary Celebration of Walt Disney World Resort, Disney Vacation Club shared a first look at the updated accommodations where members will be able to stay in early summer 2022.

The expansion at The Villas at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa will add around 200 proposed resort studios. The existing deluxe studio, one-, two-, and three-bedroom villas will be enhanced.

The new resort studios will offer two queen-sized beds and a day bed to comfortably sleep five guests.

If you need more room, The Villas at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa offers larger villas that accommodate as many as 12 guests. These spacious villas feature full kitchens with modern appliances, laundry machines, and a large living room. The living areas will feature a new pull-down queen-size bed with a pull-down bunk-size bed for the kids that folds to be hidden beneath the media center.

These rooms also come with charming decor accents such as Mickey and Minnie Mouse Victorian-theme silhouettes and other themed artwork.

The Villas at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa is located on the shores of Seven Seas Lagoon, just minutes away from the Magic Kingdom. Guests can easily access the monorail, buses, and water taxi services to travel seamlessly throughout Walt Disney World Resort.

Additionally, guests and Disney Vacation Club Members staying at any of the Walt Disney World Resort properties will enjoy a 30-minute early entry to every theme park as of October 1, 2021.
