HGV To Host Three-Night Concert Series At Its 2022 Tournament of Champions

Vacation ownership leader Hilton Grand Vacations (HGV) has just announced its impressive live performances during its three-day private concert series as a part of the 2022 HGV Tournament of Champions in January. Performers include Boyz II Men, Gin Blossoms, the Goo Goo Dolls, LeAnn Rimes, Sarah Evans, and Sheryl Crow.

These artists will perform at the brand’s three-day private concert series hosted for tournament sponsors, invited guests, and the nearly 50 celebrity players in attendance. The tournament is the kick-off to the LPGA Tour season at the beautiful Lake Nona Golf Country Club in Orlando.

Starting off night one on Tuesday, January 18 with GRAMMY award-winning artists LeAnn Rimes and Sheryl Crow. Thursday, January 20, will include acts by Sara Evans and iconic R&B group Boyz II Men. Gin Blossoms and the Goo Goo Dolls will wrap up the series on Saturday, January 22.

This concert series is just one of many ways that highlight the tournament’s unique and exciting format. Performances will be hosted at an open-air stage in the Lake Nona community’s Town Center which is known for its live events, venues, shops, and restaurants. The events will adhere to all local, state, and federal CDC guidelines.

The HGV Tournament of Champions is a one-of-a-kind event that begins the 2022 LPGA Tour season. Hilton Grand Vacations has helped bring together over 50 athletes, celebrities, and entertainers to compete. Popular names who have participated in the past include Marcus Allen, Jerry Rice, Lee Brice, Grant Hill, Alfonso Ribeiro, Ray Allen, and so many more.

Australian DJ Brooke Evers will even be providing live entertainment at the 18th-hole festivities on Saturday, January 22, and Sunday, January 23.

The tournament exclusively includes LPGA Tour winners from the previous two seasons who are competing for $1.2 million on 72 holes of stroke play with no cut. Celebrities are able to join in on the fun, competing against one another for $500,000 in a modified Stableford format. In 2021, Jess Korda won the professional division for her sixth career LPGA win while former tennis pro Mardy Fish became the celebrity division’s first three-time champion.

Tournament participants and visiting guests will be hosted at HGV’s luxury Orlando resorts. Between Hilton Grand Vacations’ impressive property lineup and recently acquired Diamond Resorts brand reputation for hosting incredible events, this tournament will set the tone for great things to come.

The tournament will be televised live Thursday, January 20 and Friday, January 21 on the Golf Channel, as well as Saturday, January 22 and Sunday, January 23 on the Golf Channel and NBC.
