Bluegreen Vacations Acquires Two Properties in Nashville

Bluegreen Vacations

Leading vacation ownership company Bluegreen Vacations (Bluegreen) has just announced its expansion into Nashville, Tennessee with the acquisition of two properties in the Printers Alley district.

The first of the two properties is a 15-story hotel with 86 rooms and two penthouse suites. The second property is a two-story building adjacent to the hotel. Formerly the Nashville Trust Company, it will turn into a sales preview center for the vacation ownership brand.

Bluegreen is already hard at work making improvements to the property, which will include a refresh to all guest rooms and converting the existing penthouse suites into presidential units. Other renovations include a new lobby, fitness center, and owners’ lounge. In the future, it could be possible for the Nashville Trust building to be transformed into a 15-story resort, continuing to grow Bluegreen’s new presence in the city.

This latest acquisition is the fourth new property added to the brand’s portfolio in the past eight months. Other purchases include Branson Cedars Resort in Ridgedale, Missouri, Bayside Resort and Spa in Panama City Beach, Florida, and Streamside Resort in Vail, Colorado. Bluegreen has also recently broken ground on its renovation of the Mill Springs Resort in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.

Bluegreen Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer Ray Lopez stated:

“We are pleased to add Nashville to the list of Bluegreen destinations. This acquisition is part of our overall strategy to offer our owners a diverse range of vacation experiences in some of the most desirable locations in the country.”

Bluegreen’s decision to transform the Nashville penthouse suites into presidential suites aligns with the brand’s decision to expand its presidential offerings. Other recent presidential suite renovations include three new units added to the MountainLoft resort in Gatlinburg and the seven presidential suites under construction at The Fountains Resort in Orlando.

Bluegreen’s Chief Sales and Marketing Officer Dusty Tonkin added:

“Nashville has been one of the top desired destinations among our owners. When the opportunity arose to acquire this landmark building, it made sense to add this vibrant city to our expanding map,” he added.

This new property is centrally located in popular downtown Nashville, less than three blocks from Broadway. Guests will have easy access to all of the city’s most beloved activities, entertainment, dining, and more.
