New Meeting Spaces at Westgate Lakes Available for Booking

Westgate Lakes Resort & Spa is now accepting bookings for 2016 in their brand-new meeting space.
The Westgate timeshare resort is currently undergoing $20 million in development, including the addition of 20,000 square feet of banquet and meeting space.
The space is located on the top floor of the resort’s newest development area. This mixed-use area will also include a parking garage, shops, entertainment, and restaurants. The restaurant area will also include a new steakhouse, perfect for buy-out events.
Once construction is complete, the resort will offer a total of 36,000 square feet of event space. The new event space addition can accommodate up to 1,900 guests but can be separated into eight rooms. The largest room, the ballroom, will be a great option for wedding receptions and business retreats.
Next to the meeting space, Westgate plans to introduce a new destination steakhouse and a Drafts Sports Bar & Grill. These restaurants are available for company luncheons through a buyout package, or to grab dinner after a long meeting with co-workers. Drafts Sports Bar & Grill features a casual but gourmet menu with handmade burgers, delicious pizzas, and over 50 beers from across the globe.
Event planners that choose to add accommodations to their bookings can also utilize the property’s great selection of amenities. The 3,000 timeshare villa resort provides a world-class spa, bowling alley, movie room, game room, and a number of resort-style pools.
