Westgate Resorts Acquires Cocoa Beach Resort

Westgate

Westgate Resorts continues to expand their network of fantastic resort properties. Their newest acquisition is Wakulla Suites in Cocoa Beach, Florida. With this new addition, Westgate now boasts 26 themed destination resorts with 13,000 villas in top locations across the United States.

Located just a mile south of the historic Cocoa Beach Pier, Wakulla Suites will provide direct beach access for guests while putting them in close proximity to Kennedy Space Center, Ron Jon Surf Shop, Port Canaveral, and other great attractions. This 120-room resort is composed of all two-bedroom, well-appointed suites. It will soon go under renovations to operate simultaneously as both a boutique-style beachside hotel and a timeshare resort. It will stay open for guests throughout the renovation process.

“We are excited about adding a Cocoa Beach resort to our portfolio,” said Westgate Resorts Founder & CEO David Siegel. “This is an ideal way to complement our extremely successful revitalization of the Pier and extend the Westgate experience to guests visiting Cocoa Beach.”

Just in the last two years, Westgate has acquired the LVH – Las Vegas Hotel & Casino, the Orlando Predators of the Arena Football League, and the Wild Beach Inn in Pigeon Forge, Tenn.
