Westgate Resorts has named longtime company executive Jim Gissy Chief Executive Officer. This was made effective on March 5, 2024. Company Founder, David Siegel, will remain Executive Board Chairman and President. He will also continue to be the leader in all major company decision-making.

Interval International has renewed its 30-year affiliation with Westgate Resorts. This affiliation, which first began in 1991, includes 20 Westgate properties located in top destinations throughout the United States.

Westgate Resorts announced that Westgate Park City Resort & Spa has won the prestigious Best of State Award for 2019 in seven different categories for its excellence in hospitality, travel and tourism, and dining. Additionally, Westgate Park City Resort & Spa was named the Best Ski Resort in Utah for the seventh consecutive year.

Westgate Resorts has just announced the acquisition of former Hilton New York Grand Central located in Manhattan. This two-tower, 300-room resort has now been rebranded as Westgate New York City.
