Westgate Resorts recently announced that Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino has been listed in Expedia’s “20 Most Popular Hotels in Las Vegas”. Expedia, the world’s largest online travel company, reported the list in an online issue of USA Today on December 21, 2016.

After a catastrophic wildfire broke out throughout Gatlinburg a couple weeks ago, Westgate Resorts has been working around the clock to pull its Smoky Mountain Resort back together. The first phase of the resort reopened this past Saturday, December 10th after 652 units and 70 of the 90 buildings were destroyed. There were, however, 352 units that went untouched, as well as most of the resort’s signature amenities including the 60,000 sq. ft. Wild Bear Falls Indoor Water Park, Marketplace, fitness center, swimming pool, and original check-in building.

Westgate Resorts continues to expand their network of fantastic resort properties. Their newest acquisition is Wakulla Suites in Cocoa Beach, Florida. With this new addition, Westgate now boasts 26 themed destination resorts with 13,000 villas in top locations across the United States.

Westgate Resorts has added another property to its portfolio with the recent acquisition of the Rodeway Inn Pigeon Forge in Tennessee. After undergoing significant renovations, the resort will reopen as a boutique-style hotel under the name Wild Bear Inn. [Read more…]
