Puerto Rico’s Rio Mar Becomes Part of Wyndham
Wednesday, May 9, 2007
Tomorrow is the day for change as the Westin Rio Mar becomes known as part of the Wyndham family of resorts.
With over a mile of tropical beach and adjacent to Puerto Rico’s Caribbean National Rain Forest of El Yunque and the Mameyes River, the beautiful Rio Mar Resort is a true luxury resort. Wyndham Worldwide has purchased a partial ownership interest in the Rio Mar Resort that was originally developed by Tishman Realty Corporation.
Included among the many amenities of the expansive resort property are two 18-hole golf courses, a spa and fitness center, 11 restaurants, and a casino. But as if all of this is not enough, a multimillion dollar redevelopment is planned that includes redesign of the golf courses and expansion of the casino. Franz Hanning, president and ceo of Wyndham Vacation Ownership, sees the development of timeshares at Rio Mar as creating an exciting new destination for Wyndham timeshare owners in the Caribbean market. Hanning says, “We are committed to expanding the Wyndham Vacation Ownership system of timeshare resorts throughout the world to provide our owners with the broadest choice of high-quality vacation opportunities in the most desirable and exciting locations…”
Throughout the Wyndham Vacation Ownership system there are approximately 150 timeshare resorts and more than 800,000 Wyndham timeshare owners. Look for Puerto Rico timeshare resales and Puerto Rico timeshare rentals for some of the best values for your vacation ownership dollar at Wyndham timeshares as well as other resorts.
The great opportunities for timeshare owners only seem to get better and better all the time.
