Will New Fantasyland be Open for Your Orlando Timeshare Vacation?
Sunday, August 12, 2012
The opening of the expanded new Fantasyland at the Walt Disney World Resort theme park has been much anticipated by kids and kids at heart since Disney announced its plans to build the extensive addition at the Magic Kingdom. Last week, Disney reported that the official opening of the Enchanted Forest (a portion of the new Fantasyland expansion), will be December 6, 2012, with a soft opening in late November, which is an ideal time of year to plan an Orlando timeshare vacation.
The Enchanted Forest experience is built around the Disney films The Little Mermaid and Beauty and the Beast, and will feature roaring waterfalls, castles, and of course, an enchanted “forest”. Dining in the Enchanted Forest will include three dining rooms in the Beast’s Castle at the Be Our Guest Restaurant. There will also be the Under the Sea Journey of the Little Mermaid, which will take you into Prince Eric’s castle. Belle and Lumière will host the Enchanted Tales of Belle, and Ariel’s Grotto will offer the perfect photo opportunity for autographs of Ariel.
The Fantasyland expansion is the largest single renovation in the history of the Magic Kingdom and upon completion will nearly double the size of the Fantasyland area of the park. Phase I of the expansion, Storybook Circus, is already open and includes The Barnstormer, Dumbo the Flying Elephant, the Casey Jr .Splash ‘n Soak Station, and the Fantasyland Station on the Walt Disney World Railroad.
The Magic of Orlando Timeshare and DVC Vacation Ownership
A Christmas season vacation to an Orlando timeshare rental will be perfect timing for exploring the Enchanted Forest, but you’ll still miss other planned expansion phases in the new Fantasyland. And if you wait for all of Fantasyland to open, Disney will surely have other magic brewing and more expansions and additions in other parts of the park. The only real solution for doing it all and seeing it all is to become a Disney Vacation Club Member or owner of one of the many other popular Orlando timeshares so you can return to enjoy all of the magic, as it unfolds.
