The Pink Shell Beach Resort & Marina announced that they have recently renewed their Florida Green Lodging Designation.
As the first resort in Fort Myers Beach to join the Florida Green Lodging Program, Pink Shell Beach Resort has maintained their designation since 2008. In addition, the resort is now labeled as a 2-Palm property within the program. [Read more…]

The Disney Vacation Club (DVC) has announced that the new bungalows at Disney’s Polynesian Resort will open on April 1, 2015.
The “Bora Bora” Bungalows are part of the newest development for the Disney timeshare program and have been under construction for the past year.
In a recent press release, Senior VP and general manager of Disney Vacation Club, Ken Potrock said, “We’re looking forward to welcoming families to this enchanting new resort, located just a quick monorail ride from Magic Kingdom Park.” [Read more…]

Exploria Resorts has just purchased the popular Grand Seas Resort located in Daytona Beach, Florida. Previously owned by the Madorsky Family, the resort is just one of the many properties in the area to recently change owners.
The nearly $2 million purchase includes the 176-unit resort, and common areas. In addition to the physical property, Exploria Resorts also took control of the company’s remaining unsold inventory, about 850 weeks out of a total of 9,000. [Read more…]
