King’s Creek Plantation Timeshare Enters Financing Deal with Liberty Bank

Liberty Bank and King’s Creek Plantation timeshare resort have entered into a financing agreement according to an announcement by Wellington Financial President, Ron Goldberg. The $33 million hypothecation loan to the Williamsburg, Virginia timeshare will take out existing lenders and provide forward financing.
Denise Brewer, Vice President at Liberty Bank, says, “Liberty Bank has participated in financing to King’s Creek Plantation for over ten years. We are excited to continue and expand our relationship.”
Goldberg, who serves on the Board of Directors for the American Resort Development Association (ARDA), explains, “We have followed King’s Creek Plantation’s successful operations in nearby Williamsburg for some time. So we were excited to be able to represent Liberty in growing their relationship with the developer.”
Liberty Bank is Connecticut’s oldest mutual bank, and has more than $3.5 billion in assets. Liberty Bank has been actively lending to the US timeshare industry for over 30 years.
