Silverleaf Resorts Timeshare Adding Water Park at Fox River Resort

Earlier this month, Silverleaf Resorts, Inc. announced its plans for an indoor water park at the Silverleaf Resorts timeshare, Fox River Resort. Located in Sheridan, Illinois, a little more than a one-hour drive southwest of Chicago, the water park is already under development and is scheduled to open some time next summer (2014).
With a $10 million price tag, the indoor water park will include an aquatic playground, a lazy river, multiple indoor/outdoor tube rides and water slides, and a signature “bucket dump.” Covering some 19,000 square feet with water fun, the park will also include a 10,000 square foot structure to accommodate food service, arcade games, a gift shop, and changing rooms.

Silverleaf Resorts timeshare owners and members at Fox River Resort already enjoy private access to on-property amenities, including two swimming pools, an executive golf course, miniature golf, tennis, a softball field, and horseback riding as well as convenient proximity to the Starved Rock State Park.
