Former Ritz-Carlton Club Resort becomes Timbers Bachelor Gulch
Wednesday, November 20, 2013
Colorado timeshare company Timbers Resorts has announced that they will re-brand the Ritz-Carlton Club, Bachelor Gulch as the new Timbers Bachelor Gulch resort.
This former Ritz-Carlton Club timeshare was purchased by the Colorado timeshare company earlier this year and is the newest resort in the Timber Residence Club. The Timbers Bachelor Gulch is now available to timeshare owners participating in the Timbers Reciprocity Program, allowing them to exchange their vacation time to travel to resorts within the network.
Founder and CEO of Timbers Resorts David Burden said, “As we continue to expand our portfolio, we couldn’t be more pleased to procure such a special and timeless property. […] We look forward to providing owners with the high-quality culture, service and hospitality that Timbers Resorts has become known for.”
Timber Resorts also plans to renovate the existing resort, with approval from the board in 2014.
“As our Club has been fully sold out and Member-controlled for years, the end of the existing management contract was a perfect opportunity to reaffirm our unique Club strictly as a Private Residence Club. After an extensive and exhaustive RFP process, followed by an overwhelming favorable vote for the change by our Members, we felt hands down that Timbers Resorts was the right fit for our Owners moving forward to return our club to its original vision,” said Michael Mullenix, President of the RCC-BG Condominium Association.
Burden adds, “As part of the process of joining the Timbers Resorts collection of properties, we plan to add several dedicated luxury amenities to restore the exclusivity of the club and will also undertake a renovation of the residences to bring them up to the latest standards of luxury.”
The resort currently features an upscale ski-lodge décor complete with large stone walls, grand wood furnishings, and glamorous fireplaces throughout the units. There are 54 timeshare units available at the Timbers Bachelor Gulch, including spacious two and three bedroom suites.
Timbers Reciprocity Program
Flexible timeshare ownership is available at many Timber Resorts as well as through the Timbers Reciprocity Program. Members can either choose to purchase and use their vacation time at a single Timber resort, or join the Reciprocity Program to travel to the various resorts across the globe.
With the Timbers Reciprocity Program, owners can travel from Vail, CO to Tuscany by exchanging their week with other members. There is no additional fee to join the timeshare exchange program; however the resort does charge a $250 fee once you decide to reserve a traded week.
