Holiday Inn Club Vacations Donates $100,000 to GKTW

Holiday Inn Club Vacations

Recently, Holiday Inn Club Vacations® (HICV) donated $100,000 to the Give Kids The World® Village in Kissimmee.

After a tour of their new 53,000 square-foot Town Hall, HICV presented the check to the non-profit group. The donation was presented by HICV Chairman of the Board Spence Wilson, CEO Don Harrill, and Board Member Spence Wilson Jr. to Give Kids The World President, Pamela Landwirth.

The donation is just a small piece of multi-year commitment that Holiday Inn Club Vacations has made to Give Kids The World. Through this agreement, HICV will support Give Kids The World’s 70–acre resort which hosts more than 7,400 children every year. Children with life-threatening illnesses visit the village in Kissimmee for a week-long vacation, free of charge. The non-profit resort is run by donations, such as the generous contribution made by HICV.

Give Kids The World Founder, Don Harrill, said,

“Our company is proud to continue to build on our long relationship with Give Kids The World, which holds a special place close to the heart of our organization. It continues a remarkable legacy of caring that makes such a difference in the lives of many wonderful children and their families.”

Give Kids The World President, Pamela Landwirth, added,

“It’s been a journey of love as more than 135,000 wish children and their families have come to the Village to experience the happiness that inspires hope since our beginnings in 1986, and Holiday Inn Club Vacations has been an unwavering partner. Their ongoing love and support inspires us to continue to do everything we can to give so many deserving families a week of relaxation, fun and memories that will last forever.”
