Ragatz Realty just recently represented the RWGroup in the sale of their resort timeshare assets to Holiday Inn Club Vacations Incorporated. These assets included four properties in the Lake Tahoe region of Nevada.

Orange Lake Resorts, part of the Holiday Inn Club Vacations brand, just opened 27 Signature Collection villas as part of their expansion at South Beach Resort in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
The construction for these rich villas began in November of 2014, and just finished this past May. With the addition of the units, South Beach Resort now has a total of 283 one-, two-, three-, and four-bedroom villas within walking distance from Myrtle Beach’s beautiful sandy beaches.

A new Galveston resort was added to the Holiday Inn Club Vacations brand portfolio last week. The brand, which is developed and exclusively operated by Orange Lake Holdings through a marketing alliance with InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG), is welcoming a new 230-villa property called Galveston Seaside Resort to their family. With the inclusion of the resort, HICV now has 22 resorts with over 6,900 villas in 12 states.
“This is another great accomplishment by our team. We now have two fantastic resort properties located in Galveston, Texas, that our Holiday Inn Club members and owners will soon be able to visit with their families,” said Don Harrill, CEO of Orange Lake Holdings. “By the end of the year, we will add another resort in Holly Lake Ranch, which will bring our total to seven properties in Texas.”
Located on the Gulf Coast of Texas, one of the more popular beach destinations in the country, the Holiday Inn Club Vacations Galveston Seaside Resort is within close proximity to other attractions like Galveston Island State Park and Schlitterbahn Galveston Island Waterpark. The resort includes on-site features such as an outdoor pool, cafe, mini golf, arcade, outdoor sports courts, sand volleyball, and an activity center. Each of the villas feature some great in-room amenities including fully-equipped kitchens and generous living areas.
Galveston Seaside Resort joins the HICV brand as part of their purchase of Silverleaf Resorts by Orange Lake Holdings. Moving forward, HICV is currently constructing a new sales center at the Galveston Seaside Resort providing additional sales opportunities in the state’s market.
“Our growth in Texas is incredible. These new resorts will provide our Holiday Inn Club members with new experiences for travel around the state. The Holiday Inn Club Vacations Galveston Seaside Resort property adds another beach destination option and includes a new beachfront building that we expect to open this fall for our guests,” said Tom Nelson, president and COO of Orange Lake Holdings. “By the end of the year, we will have branded 13 new resorts and added seven new sales centers to our brand. And we’re not done growing.”

Eight Holiday Inn Club Vacations resorts have been awarded one of TripAdvisor’s most prestigious awards. The Certificate of Excellence is awarded to resorts who maintain an overall TripAdvisor bubble rating of at least four out of five, have the minimum number of reviews, and have been listed in TripAdvisor for at least one year.
