A new Galveston resort was added to the Holiday Inn Club Vacations brand portfolio last week. The brand, which is developed and exclusively operated by Orange Lake Holdings through a marketing alliance with InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG), is welcoming a new 230-villa property called Galveston Seaside Resort to their family. With the inclusion of the resort, HICV now has 22 resorts with over 6,900 villas in 12 states.
“This is another great accomplishment by our team. We now have two fantastic resort properties located in Galveston, Texas, that our Holiday Inn Club members and owners will soon be able to visit with their families,” said Don Harrill, CEO of Orange Lake Holdings. “By the end of the year, we will add another resort in Holly Lake Ranch, which will bring our total to seven properties in Texas.”
Located on the Gulf Coast of Texas, one of the more popular beach destinations in the country, the Holiday Inn Club Vacations Galveston Seaside Resort is within close proximity to other attractions like Galveston Island State Park and Schlitterbahn Galveston Island Waterpark. The resort includes on-site features such as an outdoor pool, cafe, mini golf, arcade, outdoor sports courts, sand volleyball, and an activity center. Each of the villas feature some great in-room amenities including fully-equipped kitchens and generous living areas.
Galveston Seaside Resort joins the HICV brand as part of their purchase of Silverleaf Resorts by Orange Lake Holdings. Moving forward, HICV is currently constructing a new sales center at the Galveston Seaside Resort providing additional sales opportunities in the state’s market.
