New and exciting changes are coming to the Holiday Inn Club Vacations brand. Orange Lake Holdings, parent company of HICV, announced two new additions to their family in Texas. The Hill Country Resort in Canyon Lake and the Villages Resort in Flint, both formerly of the Silverleaf brand, will be rebranded as Holiday Inn Club Vacations resorts moving forward. The announcement is the latest in a series of moves by Orange Lake Holdings to incorporate Silverleaf properties into their brand following their purchase of the vacation ownership chain last year. The Holiday Inn Club Vacations will now add some more depth to its already illustrious brand portfolio. The company has adopted three properties, including the 266-unit Holiday Inn Club Vacations Piney Shores Resort in Conroe, TX; the 514-unit HICV Holiday Hills Resort in Branson, MO; and the 76-unit HICV Orlando Breeze Resort in Davenport, FL. With the inclusion of these 856 additional units, HICV now has 19 branded resorts with over 5,900 villas in 12 states.

Holiday Inn Club Vacations has partnered with Clean The World, a social enterprise dedicated to saving millions of lives around the world by diverting hotel waste in North America, Asia, and Europe. HICV will now be recycling partially-used soaps and bottled hygiene products from its resorts. Once collected, the hygiene products get sterilized and recycled into newly manufactured soap bars and bottled products.

Holiday Inn Club Vacations^®, part of InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) and in collaboration with Orange Lake Resorts, will open its 16th location in Scottsdale, Arizona. The resort will open in two phases, the first offering 54 villas, two pools, a fitness center, and a limited offering of activities. [Read more…]
