Wyndham Celebrates 10 Years in Sydney

Next month, Wyndham Vacation Resorts Asia Pacific will celebrate their 10th anniversary in Sydney, Australia.

Wyndham Sydney was originally purchased on August 1, 2005, and opened two months later on October 1st. Located on Sydney’s Wentworth Avenue, the resort is a short distance from the popular Hyde Park and many other Sydney attractions.

As the first “urban” timeshare resort included in Wyndham Vacation Resort Asia Pacific’s portfolio, the Wyndham Sydney has been a top destination for many years. Since it’s Wyndham affiliation in 2005, the Wyndham Sydney has maintained a 90% occupancy rate, year round. Last year, over 30,000 guests visited the Wyndham Sydney and in 2015, the resort has welcomed more than 20,000 guests.

The Wyndham Sydney resort would not be where they are today without the hard work of their staff. Currently, there are 29 resort employees, as well as 60 team members in sales and marketing. Most of the team members have worked for Wyndham for 5 or more years, including Duty Manager, Jerome Vladez, and Regional Director of Resort Operations, Markus Sigmann, who have been with the resort since the day it opened.
