Westgate Resorts Buys Hotel in Tennessee

Westgate Resorts has added another property to its portfolio with the recent acquisition of the Rodeway Inn Pigeon Forge in Tennessee. After undergoing significant renovations, the resort will reopen as a boutique-style hotel under the name Wild Bear Inn.

Wild Bear Inn is centrally located near popular area attractions such as the Dollywood theme park, Dollywood Splash Country water park, and Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies. It will also be the closest hotel to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

The newly renovated inn will feature on-site amenities including a seasonal outdoor pool, restaurant, business center, and wireless internet access. In-suite amenities feature a refrigerator, coffee maker, cable TV, in-room safe and hairdryer.

This newest addition to the Westgate family brings their portfolio to 29 themed destination resorts with 13,000 villas in premier locations throughout the U.S. and more in development.
