Disney Vacation Club Celebrates 25th Anniversary with New Epcot Member Lounge

For its 25th anniversary, the Disney Vacation Club announced it will be treating its members to all-new experiences and exclusive perks. The biggest reveal is the all-new Member Lounge located in Epcot, open to DVC members only.

Disney touts the newest addition to its vacation ownership club as a sanctuary for club members to “relax and unwind”. Located in the Imagination! Pavilion within Epcot, the lounge opens on June 6th. DVC members will find free soft drinks, WiFi, charging stations, computers, and comfortable seating arrangements in the lounge.

The ever-popular vacation club also announced an array of other notable additions to commemorate the special year, including new services, exclusive events, and special getaways. During June and July, DVC members can experience a park-wide after hours beach party at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon. Dubbed the Disney Vacation Club Neighborhood Beach Bash, the event includes special access to select attractions, a dance party, beach activities and games, and more.

Other events have been scheduled throughout the remainder of the year. During the fall, DVC members can head to Animal Kingdom for the Disney Vacation Club Safari Spectacular, while members who are visiting during the holiday season can take part in the Merry Member Mixer events at Epcot.

Disney continues its special offering to members with its Silver Anniversary Sweepstakes, where members can win one of 25 exclusive vacations. DVC will also host cruises around New York City in the fall months. Other additions to club services this year include “personalized member services,” and “vacation-planning enhancements” designed to make vacationing easier on DVC members.

Finally, the club is also promising exclusive members-only merchandise for those looking to celebrate the anniversary with DVC. New DVC membership cards are in the works to grant members access to new services and events, as well as special buttons, accessories, and a free commemorative photo at designated DVC kiosks.
