Disney Opens New Copper Creek Villas & Cabins in Orlando

Yesterday, Disney Vacation Club opened its 14th vacation ownership property at their already-successful Wilderness Lodge Resort. The Copper Creek Villas & Cabins opened its doors, featuring nearly two hundred new accommodation options and distinct lakeside cabin units. The opening of the resort comes on the heels of a momentous D23 Expo, which saw the announcement of ambitious new plans from Disney.

The resort offers a wide berth of one-, two-, and three-bedroom villas spread across Disney’s Wilderness Lodge. Most notably, the property features 26 lakeside units dubbed the Cascade Cabins. Unique to this specific DVC property, the Cascade Cabins incorporate two-bedroom, two-bathroom spaces with modern amenities. Timeshare owners will find the cabins include full kitchens, flat-screen TVs, laundry facilities, a hot tub, a private porch, and indoor and outdoor fireplaces.

As with the rest of the larger Wilderness Lodge resort, the Copper Creek Villas & Cabins focus on channeling the beauty of the Pacific Northwest. The resort is just a short water taxi ride away from Magic Kingdom, and guests will aso have easy bus access to the rest of Walt Disney World. Also available on-site, the new Geyser Point Bar & Grill offers amazing views of Bay Lake and unique cuisine inspired by the region.
