Bluegreen Vacations Receives Three 2019 ARDA Awards

Bluegreen Vacations was honored with three 2019 American Resort Development Association (ARDA) Awards during the company’s annual Gala. This event took place in Orlando, Florida on April 10th. The event celebrates excellence in various vacation ownership industry categories including resort operations, marketing and sales, management and administration, advertising, and product design.
“We are immensely proud of our associates for being recognized by our industry as one of the best,” said Bluegreen Vacations President and CEO Shawn B. Pearson. “They are a shining example of excellence and the embodiment of our core values. We celebrate them and all our ARDA finalists who continue to contribute to Bluegreen’s success through their strong work ethic and dedication to creating happiness and memorable experiences for our customers.”
Bluegreen Vacations received 10 nominations and took home the following awards:
- Resort Department Manager – Arturo Santa Cruz, Banquet Director, Eilan Hotel & Spa
- Resort Operations Team Member/Team – Rosie Tarin, Bell Attendant, Bluegreen Club 36
- Owner, Guest, Customer Engagement Campaign – Bluegreen Cares
The Bluegreen Cares initiative focused on engaging owners and guests through experiential voluntourism efforts with events that allow them to give back to their vacationing home community. So far, they’ve aided in post-Hurricane Irma cleanup, and rehab and rescue of animals in Gordonville, VA, Myrtle Beach, SC, Peoria, AZ, and Branson, MO.
