Apple Leisure Group Gets New Caribbean Resort Management Deal

AMResorts, an Apple Leisure Group brand, has just announced its new resort management deal in Curacao. This new deal brings Dreams® Resorts & Spas to this island nation destination. The property, formerly known as Hilton Curacao, will go through a $15-million-renovation before it will reopen as Dreams Curacao Resort, Spa & Casino in December 2019.

Javier Coll, Executive Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer of Apple Leisure Group, commented:

“We’re very pleased with the Caribbean’s current momentum and expect this trend to continue for the foreseeable future. Considering ALG moves two out of every 10 U.S. travelers headed to the Caribbean, and the fact that the Curacao Tourism Board has succeeded on attracting more American visitors than ever before, now is the time for owners to invest in the island’s all-inclusive market. We’re looking forward to introducing our very first Dreams property in the country and are confident our firm’s proven track record and unmatched expertise will continue fueling our growth throughout the region.”

Dreams Curacao Resort, Spa & Casino will be located in Piscadera Bay and will be made up of 197 rooms and suites. These units will feature a private balcony and other high-end touches. Resort amenities are set to include access to two private white sand beaches, two culinary concepts, a luxury spa, fitness center, a corner shop, cafe, and more.

Also offered at this Apple Leisure Group property will be the brand’s signature Unlimited-Luxury® vacation concept. This covers all of the guests’ on-site dining and service options, including a la carte, room service, concierge services, daytime activities, and live nighttime entertainment—all without the use of wristbands.

Dreams Curacao Resort, Spa & Casino will bring the AMResorts; resort portfolio to a total of 64 resort properties, plus an additional 10,000 rooms currently under development. Other top-rated resort properties can be found under several award-winning brands throughout Mexico, the Caribbean, Central America, and Spain.
