Marriott Vacation Club has announced its latest proposed resort and sales gallery to be located in Costa Rica. This new property is set to be located in the community of Los Sueños Resort and Marina and the Los Sueños Marriott Ocean & Golf Resort complex and will feature 24 two-bedroom lockout villas. The goal is to welcome Owners and guests once the company complete the acquisition of the finished units in early 2021.

Additionally, Marriott Vacation Club aims to debut an innovative sales gallery designed to complement the area’s unique surroundings.

Currently, there are Marriott Vacation Club resorts located throughout the United States, the Caribbean, Europe, and Asia. This will be the brand’s first property in Central America.

The new Costa Rica property will be developed by a partnership of CPG Hospitality and Enjoy Group. They also currently own the Los Sueños Marriott Ocean & Golf Resort.

“We are truly excited about this unique opportunity for our Owners and guests to experience Costa Rica’s incredible beauty, rich history and welcoming culture,” said Stephen P. Weisz, president and chief executive officer of Marriott Vacations Worldwide. “With this latest proposed addition, we continue to pursue our strategic growth plan of delivering important sales distributions and exceptional resorts in highly desired locations.”

Marriott Vacation Club Owners and guests will have access to the amenities found at Los Sueños Marriott Ocean & Golf Resort, including a free-form swimming pool, private beach access, the Sibo Fitness Center, and five on-site restaurants. La Iguana Golf Club, an 18-hole championship course, is also located nearby for golf enthusiasts to enjoy.

The Marriott Vacation Club proposed resort will be within walking distance to Marina Village, where guests will find waterfront restaurants, shops, and more. Costa Rica is also known for its incredible fishing opportunities and unspoiled natural landscape.

Other nearby attractions to this proposed resort include Jacó beach town, Manuel Antonio National Park, rainforests, hiking trails, and zip-lining courses.

Owners and guests can expect to be able to visit this new Marriott Vacation Club resort in early 2021 through the brand’s Destinations Exchange Program. Learn more about Marriott Vacation Club on their website.
