Marriott Vacation Club Opens First Resort in Costa Rica

Marriott Vacation Club has officially opened their first resort property in Costa Rica. Marriott Vacation Club at Los Sueños resort is located on the 1,110-acre master planned community of Los Sueños Resort and Marina and is situated along Costa Rica’s Green Coast between Herradura Bay and the rainforest. This is the first Marriott Vacation Club branded resort in Central America.

Marriott Vacation Club at Los Sueños is now available for club Owners to stay at through the Marriott Vacation Club Destinations Exchange Program. It is also available for rental guests through MarriottVacationClub.com. Timeshares will be available for sale at Marriott Vacation Club at Los Sueños in a couple of weeks.

The resort was developed through a partnership of CPG Hospitality and Enjoy Group, two of the leading hospitality investment and management companies in the region. Oriol Gimenez, managing partner for CPG Hospitality, commented on the new Marriott Vacations Worldwide partnership:

Marriott Vacation Club at Los Sueños is composed of two-bedroom lock-off villas, two-bedroom villas, one-bedroom villas, and studios suites. Each offers a full kitchen and/or kitchenette, open living room spaces, local handmade tropical art and decor, and extra large windows.

The new resort shares a number of amenities and features with the Los Sueños Marriott Ocean & Golf Resort, including a free-form swimming pool, beach access, full-service spa, tennis courts, miniature golf course, the Tortuga Kids Club, and five restaurants. Guests will also have access to La Iguana Golf Club, an incredibly scenic 18-hole championship golf course. Nearby, Owners and guests can experience local culture and plenty of unique shopping opportunities at the Marina Village—located within walking distance of the resort.
