New Hyatt Ziva Resort Is Anticipated to Open in 2021

Hyatt Hotels Corporation (Hyatt) and Playa Hotels & Resorts have announced the anticipated opening of their newest property, Hyatt Ziva Riviera Cancun, to open sometime in 2021. This family-friendly resort will be the newest addition to the award-winning Hyatt Ziva brand which is focused on providing incredible, all-inclusive vacations to travelers.

Hyatt Ziva Riviera Cancun will be located between Playa del Carmen and the well-known Cancun Hotel Zone, and about 30 minutes from Cancun International Airport. The property will feature 438 rooms where guests can escape their day-to-day lives, enjoy time with their loved ones, and get to explore one of Mexico’s most beloved vacation destinations.

Wanting to provide guests of all ages with activities they will enjoy, Hyatt Ziva Riviera Cancun will have a number of preferred on-site amenities like multiple swimming pools, a state-of-the-art fitness center, several dining options, a Mayan-inspired spa with 12 indoor and eight outdoor treatment rooms, access to the beautiful Bahia Petempich lagoon, and over 15,000-square-feet of event space.
