Attention California Timeshare Owners: Upcoming NTOA Meeting

In the midst of all our blogging recently about the ARDA Convention wrapping up this week in Las Vegas, we can’t overlook another important event for timeshare owners.

The National Timeshare Owners Association (NTOA) will meet on Sunday, March 21, 2010 from 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM in Orange County, California.

Although the meeting is open to all NTOA members who pre-register to attend, the event offers a particularly outstanding opportunity for California timeshare owners and Nevada timeshare owners to meet face-to-face with industry experts.

You’ll hear firsthand insider information about buying timeshares, selling timeshare, timeshare exchange, and how to fully enjoy and maximize the rewards of being a timeshare owner.

When you join the NTOA, you not only gain access to their regional educational events, but you earn other benefits including:

  • Discounted costs and liability protection for timeshare rental.
  • Serious discounts when you are ready to buy timeshare.
  • Legal assistance for dealing with timeshare as a charitable donation, in your will, during a divorce, and more.
  • Lower interest fees for financing timeshare or refinancing timeshare.
  • Monthly news and tips from timeshare owners and experts.
  • Timeshare exchange opportunities without the membership fee, and at the lowest timeshare exchange rates.
  • Reduced closing costs for direct timeshare transfers.
  • Security and members-only discounts when you sell timeshare.
  • The only comprehensive “bible” on timesharing available exclusively through NTOA.

Viva Las Vegas and the 2010 ARDA Timeshare Convention

Viva Las Vegas and the 2010 ARDA Timeshare Convention

Many timeshare owners don’t understand what ARDA (The American Resort Development Association) is all about. ARDA really is the voice of timeshare in the US. This Washington DC-based professional association was established in 1969. It represents timeshare companies, both publicly traded and privately owned, national and international, from every aspect of timeshare, fractionals, and shared ownership. The more than 1000 ARDA members include not only timeshare sales and timeshare resales companies, but timeshare HOA’s, timeshare resort management companies and timeshare owners through ARDA-ROC, the ARDA Resort Owners Coalition.

So of course, we are excited when ARDA’s annual convention and exposition rolls around. It marks a time of innovative idea exchange, networking, and the sharing of new visions and business models among everyone who is dedicated making timeshare the best vacation product possible.

Here’s a look at what Wednesday’s agenda at the 2010 ARDA timeshare convention included:

  • Registration
  • State Regulators Breakfast
  • Private Meetings in Exhibit Hall
  • Educational Session Wave 4
  • The Opening of the Exhibit Hall
  • Committee Meetings
  • Educational Session Wave 5
  • Educational Session Wave 6
  • Resale Forum
  • International Marketplace
  • Educational Session Wave 7

Wyndham Timeshare Donation

Wyndham Timeshare Donation

Opportunities in Wyndham Nashville timeshare resales and timeshare rentals. This is the second blog we’ve posted here on The Timeshare Authority in the past year about a timeshare resort’s renovation creating a windfall for a local charity.

With the scheduled renovations of the Wyndham Nashville timeshare resort, located near the Opry Mills in Nashville, Tennessee, the updates will result in nearly a quarter million dollars in appliances, artwork, mattresses, and furniture going to charity. The recipient will be the GEAR Foundation’s Our Thrift Store located in downtown Franklin, Tennessee. The facility provides employment for people with special needs.

GEAR founder, Dave Krikac says, “This is a template that we hope will attract other caring hotel organizations who might find this an attractive option for dealing with room furnishings that must be disposed of after a renovation.”

Wyndham Nashville resort manager Mike Sellge notes that making the donation is both helpful to the community and environmentally responsible.

Sell My Timeshare NOW, a Timeshare Resales Advertising Company that Never Cold Calls

Sell My Timeshare NOW, a Timeshare Resales Advertising Company that Never Cold Calls

When the phone rings during your dinner, it won’t be Sell My Timeshare NOW. After reading the News Channel 7 (Spartanburg; Greenville; Anderson, SC; Asheville, NC) news report, it seems like a good time to remind people: Sell My Timeshare NOW won’t be calling you unless you have asked us to call.

We do not make cold calls. We don’t interrupt your dinner, your evening at home with your family, or that extra hour of sleep you were getting on a Saturday morning with a ringing telephone and an unrequested call. Unsolicited phone calls are not respectful, not good business, and in many cases, not legal.

When you want to sell timeshare you no longer use, by-owner advertising may be a great choice for you. But Sell My Timeshare NOW reminds you to base your decision on a clear cut understanding of hat the timeshare company will be doing—and won’t be doing to help you sell your property.

Some less-than-reputable companies take money to advertise your timeshare resale or timeshare rental, imply they will be out knocking on doors trying to help you sell your timeshare, and then do absolutely nothing from that point forward. That seems to have been the type of service (or lack of service) that News Channel 7 was reporting.

Sell My Timeshare NOW offers different types of services to help you buy, rent, or sell timeshare. You can work with a timeshare broker through our Timeshare Broker Services or advertise your timeshare resale as a by-owner property while Sell My Timeshare NOW works to keep your timeshare ad in front of the largest audience of prospective timeshare buyers possible. Our websites average over 25 million visitors each year from more than 176 countries around the world. With our menu of services, you can even choose the level of timeshare resale support that is right for you, customizing how much of the resale process you want to handle yourself and how much you want to turn over to a timeshare resale professional.

But through it all, here’s our promise … unless you ask us to, Sell My Timeshare NOW won’t be cold calling your number. And we won’t be trying to bait you with unrealistic promises or timelines we can’t guarantee. But when you are ready for honest, effective, and reliable help to buy, rent, or sell timeshare, we’re there when you need us.
