RCI Timeshare

RCI, the largest timeshare exchange company in the world, has updated it’s RCI^® Affiliates app. The app is used by RCI affiliated resorts to educate timeshare owners about the benefits of RCI.

The updated app offers affiliates new tutorials, videos, and presentations to help educate perspective members. The redesigned app has been so helpful that it won a 2014 ARDA Award in the Mobile Website or App category.

The app is a dynamic and interactive tool that shows the value timeshare ownership and exchange. With the most recent update, RCI affiliates will experience increased usability, improved navigation, and a more attractive design.

We have updated the app, which was the first of its kind in the industry, to be even more useful and effective.”

New RCI App Features Include:

• Affiliate Leadership — A management & sales resource for affiliate organization leaders. This feature is extremely useful for managers, developers, and HOA boards.
• Tool Box — A hub for timeshare developers and sales representatives. Here you’ll find presentations on RCI Points^® and RCI Weeks^® programs.
• RCI Vacation Trends — A map that displays bookings from RCI members in real time. The Vacation Trends map includes all bookings from the last 24 hours.
• RCI Affiliated Resort Directory — Here, perspective members can review the list of over 4,500 affiliated resorts. The directory includes photos, videos, and detailed resort information.
• RCI TV — View high-definition videos that showcase resorts and destinations.
• Hotel Accommodations Calculator — Here, perspective members can use savings calculator to see the value in vacation ownership and exchange.

The new RCI app also encourages users to personalize the app with their preferences. Users can save videos as “Favorites” and create a custom “Playlist”. This feature will make the app extremely efficient during presentations.

With RCI’s “Win Your Dream Vacation” sweepstakes, travelers can enter to win one of 40 vacation prizes. By voting for their favorite travel packages, travelers can enter to win a variety of trips including a grand prize valued up to $25,000.

Since the RCI “Win Your Dream Vacation” sweepstakes began in April, over 120,000 vacationers have entered. RCI has collected survey data from each of these participants. This will help RCI to better assist their members.

Categories include:

•How many guests would you bring on vacation? 32% of participants chose to bring one guest. The second most popular response was five guests, with 27% of participants selecting this option.
•What type of vacation do you prefer? 48% of participants selected a beach vacation. In second place, 22% selected a cruising.
•Which ‘add-on’ option would you select? The majority of voters (60%) selected an all-inclusive add-on.
•What is your ideal favorite travel destination? While answered varied, the majority of respondents, about 28%, chose Hawaii.

There’s still time to enter the “Win Your Dream Vacation” sweepstakes. The contest is open to all U.S. residents until June 18, 2014. Create your dream vacation and then share your trip with social media. The more you share with family and friends, the more entries you will receive.

In addition, when the contest reaches 250,000 shares, RCI will donate $20,000 to Christel House International. Christel House is a nonprofit organization that is working the break the cycle of poverty by helping underprivileged children.

RCI has added yet another resort to their affiliated network. This time, it is the Domina Coral Bay Hotel & Resort on the island of Sicily. For the second year in a row, RCI’s location in Cork, Ireland has been recognized by Great Place to Work^®. Great Place to Work^® is a global research firm devoted to creating and sustaining great workplaces. For their 2014 list, RCI Cork was honored in the “Best Large Workplaces in Ireland” category.
