Orange Lake Resorts Makes Move into North Georgia Mountains
Friday, November 13, 2015
In a joint effort, Orange Lake Resorts and InterContinental Hotels Group announced plans to brand a third location, Apple Mountain Resort, from Orange Lake Resorts’ Silverleaf Resorts portfolio with the Holiday Inn Club Vacations® logo. On track to be rebranded in late December, this move will mark the company’s first resort in the North Georgia Mountains.
Apple Mountain Resort is a vacation property that was planned with the outdoors in mind including activities for the whole family to enjoy. The resort’s amenities include horseback riding and mini golf, along with an on-site 18-hole golf club and pro shop. Apple Mountain also features a movie theater, playground, activity center, and seasonal outdoor pool and spa. Additionally, the rebranding will allow for upgrades to different guest areas of the resort, as well as renovations to the villas.
“This continues to be an extraordinary year for Orange Lake Resorts and the Holiday Inn Club Vacations brand,” said Thomas R. Nelson, President of Orange Lake Holdings, LLP. “Apple Mountain Resort represents the branding of the third resort from the Silverleaf acquisition this year, as we expand the Holiday Inn Club Vacations brand footprint into four new markets and add nearly 1,000 villas by year end.”
This 96-unit resort will become the 995th in the Holiday Inn Club Vacations portfolio, in addition to another new Holiday Inn Club Vacations resort in Scottsdale, Arizona by the end of 2015.
