The Newest Welk Resorts Property in Breckenridge, CO Breaks Ground

On June 7, 2018, the Welk Resorts team broke ground on their newest addition in beautiful Breckenridge, Colorado: The Ranahan by Welk Resorts. Phase I is expected to be completed in late 2019. To celebrate the newest partnership, Welk staff gathered with members of the community for a groundbreaking event.
All who joined in welcoming Welk Resorts to the community were excited to also celebrate the grand opening of the Gibbs’ Barn Preview Center which will allow Welks’ owners to preview their properties and all of the amazing benefits that come along with vacation ownership. Before the day was finished, Welks Resorts made a surprise $10,000 donation to the Rob Millisor Heart Health Walk in Breckenridge.
The Ranahan will be positioned in the heart of the Rocky Mountains and on the Blue River. It will be an ideal destination for vacationers who want to experience all that Breckenridge has to offer. Some of the top attractions include skiing, snowboarding, fishing, biking, hiking, sailing, and snowshoeing.

In addition to these amazing features, Welk’s CEO Jon Fredricks also announced another Phase I project for employee housing units. These units will provide low-income team members an affordable place to live and provide a great alternative to the limited housing options.
