Update on Festiva Resorts’ Coconut Palms Beach Resort II “Elevating the Journey” Renovations

The successful, privately held vacation ownership company, Festiva, has been working diligently to improve their properties with their latest project at the Coconut Palms Beach Resort II in New Smyrna Beach, Florida. As apart of their $18.5 million Elevating the Journey renovation project, Coconut Palms has set the tone for guests with stunning, beach-inspired decor.

Since late 2017, Coconut Palms II has been focused on improving different areas of their property with the goal not only to elevate their facilities and amenities, but to also offer the same level of superior customer care they have always provided. It first started with a remodel of their sales center and Tiki Hut area before moving on to poolside furniture upgrades and freshening up the outdoor space with paint. In February 2018, they remodeled the property’s 22 units with new modern furniture, paint, and appliances. To keep with the beach aesthetic, they focused on soft, welcoming colors like light blue, white, and turquoise. They have also replaced their linens to match the rest of their incredible enhancements.

Festiva Management Services President and Chief Hospitality Officer David G. DeShaw stated:

“We are thrilled with the completed renovations at Coconut Palms Beach Resort II, in the Royal Palm Building. As we move into 2019, we are finalizing plans to completely renovate the rest of the resort over the next 18-24 months. The Board of Directors in collaboration with Festiva Management Services are developing a financial and renovation strategy to complete the resort renovations by phasing the remaining improvements over a period of time. Coconut Palms Beach Resort II offers magnificent ocean views with an ideal beachfront location. These improvements along with the newly launched Festiva Journeys program will elevate and refine the vacation experience of all owners and guests.”

The Elevating the Journey renovation project is a five-year plan that includes upgrades to all of the Festiva resorts in Florida, South Carolina, and Missouri. Between the brand’s preferred point-based membership program, vacationing flexibility, and other ownership benefits, Festiva will only gain more traction as each remodel begins.
