Welk Resorts Acquires Residence Club at El Corazon de Santa Fe

On January 1, vacation ownership and management company Welk Resorts began overseeing and managing the 16-unit Residence Club at El Corazon de Santa Fe. These units were acquired from Fairmont/Accor Hotels that managed the club for 12 years.
According to Welk Resort’s General Manager Daniell Auckerman, The Residence Club at El Corazon accommodations consist of fractional timeshares and individually-owned condominiums. Currently, there are 12 owners with Welk Resorts owning several shares.
This gated community offers its owners beautifully appointed two-bedroom small and large villas which range from 1,300 to 1,750 square feet and sleep from four to six guests. These units are fitted with traditional Spanish architecture, gourmet kitchens, two bathrooms, gas fireplaces, in-unit washers and dryers, separate living and dining areas, high-speed WiFi, and beautiful private patios or balconies.
On-site, El Corazon de Santa Fe also has a cozy clubhouse where owners can congregate for cocktails, complimentary parking, an impressive concierge service, pre-arrival grocery shopping services, golf memberships and discounts at Towa Golf Resort, restaurant partnerships with discounts and benefits, art gallery partnerships with preferred benefits, and more.
The transition in management will not bring on any significant changes in amenities or staff at this particular ownership, aside from the owners now having access to the Welk Resorts portfolio and the ability to trade to vacation at other properties.
El Corazon de Santa Fe is located just three blocks from The Plaza where guests in Santa Fe, New Mexico will find a plethora of activities and have the chance to experience the city’s vibrant Southwestern culture.
