Rob Katz, the chairman and CEO of Vail Resorts, Inc., has established a new charitable fund to give back to mountain resorts communities. Pledging $58 million, the new fund will benefit a variety of nonprofits, social service organizations, and more that work to improve the quality of life and environment around some of the nation’s most precious mountain towns and cities. Bluegreen Vacation has just announced their plans to expand at the Fountains, their signature resort located in Orlando, Florida. These plans include adding 97 new vacation ownership resort units with two- and three-bedroom layouts.

Sundance Resort Club Japan chose RCI to give timeshare owners the company’s exchange services. Now, RCI has six new affiliated resorts in Japan, so RCI’s 3.8 million members from all over the world can now exchange for more Japanese vacations. The newly affiliated resorts can be found in such popular areas as Chiba Prefecture, Nagano Prefecture, Kanagawa Prefecture, Yamanashi Prefecture, and Shizuoka Prefecture.
